10. Can I use my Webcam on my personal computer or laptop?

WebAR (web-based augmented reality) experiences are only available using Android or iOS mobile devices. Please open the link using your cellphone to take part in the experience.

11. I’m still struggling, can I try anything else?

Sometimes there is a connection or loading issue that can produce an error. Please close your browser, clear all your web history and try loading the link again.

12. It’s still not working, what could the problem be?

WebAR requires a combination of both a device with the required capabilities with those capabilities turned on, and a current or recent version of:

  • Chrome or Firefox on Android and computers
  • Safari on iOS devices. Note that with iOS 14 the Chrome app also supports WebAR on iOS devices.

We recommend using devices that score 500 or more on the GeekBench tests. For iOS devices this is an iPhone 6S or better. And for Android this is equivalent to a Google Pixel (version 1) or better:

    iOS devices https://browser.geekbench.com/ios-benchmarks
    Android devices https://browser.geekbench.com/android-benchmarks

For the very best experience we recommend a modern device that scores 600 or more.

Internet Explorer does not support WebAR experiences yet as it doesn't support the required web standards. iPhones and iPads running less than iOS 11, such as iOS 10, don't support the web browser accessing the device’s camera stream to support true AR (augmented reality).

We can define a fallback for AR experiences you create in the case of versions lower than iOS 11 or for people who don't allow camera access on their devices. You can add an alternate experience that can be a 360 degree image or video, with a coloured or grid background.

Although we pretest across new versions of browsers and device operating systems before they are publicly available, some browser or operating system updates may cause issues on some devices.
